Projects: They can be pharmacological, physiological or histological based studies.

1) Developing an in vitro model to simulate the effect of breathing on airway diameter; i.e. marrying motors with airways dissected from pig lung.

2) Factors that alter airway contractility (smooth muscle loads).

3) Factors that protect the airway from inhaled substances.

4) the role of virus in airway contractility.
